Hi! Welcome, and thanks for stopping by!
I bet you have a great story to tell. Well, as luck would have it, I am a storyteller, specializing in candid and creative wedding and portrait photography in Upstate New York. I strive to keep things simple, relaxed and fun. I understand the value of good photography as a family keepsake and a means to communicate with future generations in a way that words fall short.
I love a pretty picture but even more, I cherish a poignant capture — a stolen moment, a connection between two beings, the excitement and sentiment that sneaks up on us and carries us through the mundane. As a chronic people-watcher, I'm ready for it! And you won’t even know I am there. That’s my goal as your story-teller: observe, capture, share.
Albany / Saratoga / Adirondacks / Hudson Valley
I have had the pleasure of working at many different venues in the Capital Region and beyond, but I am not afraid to try something new. Having had years of experience gives me the ability to adapt quickly and efficiently.
For weddings and scheduled events, I make the setting work so I can focus on what really matters — the smiles, the laughter, the interactions, and the fun. For portraits and professional photography, such as head shots and branding, I can help you choose and construct ideal conditions for the best results.
Got ideas? I’d love to hear them. Not sure what you want or need? No problem — let’s discuss!
Life Captured. Connections Shared.
From weddings to newborns and family sessions, I love personal connections and celebrating life’s milestones. (And yes, furbabies count as family, too!) Even relating to your audience as a professional counts in my book. Because I value the bond we share, I thoroughly enjoy getting to work with clients to help them capture and convey theirs.
My approach is simple. I make sure we get the safe-shots first, and then we play. My favorite things is to set you up in great light and let you interact, capturing the nuances that make your experience uniquely yours. Of course, there are patterns in human behavior, which I recognize after years of experience, but this only makes me more equipped to be in the right place at the right time to document your most meaningful moments.
